- It's happening.... Any parent of a cute daughter would relate.... It's a nightmare! ACK!!!
- The boys are showing up on our doorstep, they're calling, they're texting, they're HERE! ACK!!!
- The flavor of the week? Jacob. He's a polite and cute kid, who never says goodbye, just "peace". ACK!!!
- What's a parent to do? That's not rhetorical...seriously, tell me please!

Hahaha, you have 2 choices, darlin'. Accept the influx of those XY demons graciously--as an inevitable and unavoidable part of Haley growing into a young woman...or sit on the front porch with a tazer and a Rottweiler.
The choice is yours, choose wisely, grasshopper.
Oh...Bubba would be a good name for a Rot...and you can learn how to make your own tazer on youtube!

I would always talk to my daughter about respecting her body and what boys want. She would yell "Mom!" and go to her room and shut the door. I kept talking through the door.
I also used e-mail to talk to her. It is important to keep the lines of communication open and to inject some humor into it once in a while.
It also helped to be nice to the guys and get to know them, but to occasionally give them the "evil eye" too so that they know you are watching them!
By the way, it's a "D" here too

we got those problems too..AAAK!!!
But I say....talk to Tina H. and get some therapy...she has some very creative ways to deal with girls and boys..!! Using a little humor too!
